Starring James Cromwell and Geneviève Bujold this warm and moving film follows the story of an 88 year old man Babe from New Brunswick played by Cromwell and his struggle to build his dream house using techniques passed down by his ancestors. Because his techniques clash with that of new age building, Babe most battle the provincial government for the right to build his house to the specs he wishes.
