Whistler Cup: Can’t stop ‘em....just clock ‘em!
The 22nd annual Whistler Cup is coming April 4, 5, and 6, 2014. This is the event to watch future ski racing stars compete in Whistler. There are twenty-six countries confirmed so far for this year's event.
Whistler welcomes over 400 athletes between the ages of 12 and 15, 150 coaches and 300 volunteers. Skiers will compete in a number of disciplines including Downhill, Super G and Cross Country.
The event will be held at Whistler Blackcomb home to the 2010 Winter Olympics Downhill event. Come out and watch the events for FREE. Watch the future of racing in the making. Join us the April 4, 5 and 6. On April 3 there will be a kick-off party in the Village featuring all 26 nations. Think of it as a mini opening ceremony with each nation waving their flags in anticipation of the up-coming races.
This is an incredible opportunity to witness future stars of the World Cup competing.
