Whistler Arts Council Presents

Whistler Film In Real Life

Whistler Arts Council presents InRealLife, a 90-minute documentary which questions what the Internet is doing to our children.

By following British teenagers and going into the world of Silicon Valley, filmmaker Beeban Kidron quietly builds the case that today's young people are ensnared in a commercial world. Instead of the promise of free and open connectivity, the Internet can be alienating and addictive.

InRealLife asks if we can afford to stand by while our children, trapped in their 24/7 connectivity, are being outsourced to the net.

The movie screening takes place at Whistler Millennium Place. Curtain drop is at 7PM. Tickets are $8.
