Celebrate Canada Day and Independence Day in Whistler
Whistler is the ideal place to celebrate both Canada Day and the US Independence Day. The long weekend allows Whistler to really bring out the summer entertainment, and typically street entertainment, special events and free concerts bring people out to enjoy.

Whistler Street Entertainment
Location: Throughout Whistler Village
Time: All Day
Description: Catch live street artists throughout the day in the Whistler Village. The Village comes alive with fun and interactive entertainment including: live dance acts, theatre shows, arts and crafts for kids, art displays, sporting activities and live music.
Location: Whistler Village Stroll
Time: 3PM - 7PM
Description: The Village Stroll transforms into an art district with dozens of artists painting, quilting, knitting and spinning pottery wheels at every corner. Come check out the various artists live as they create new works right before your eyes. You can also pick up an ArtWalk passport and take yourself on self guided tour of Whistler's fantastic art galleries and studios.
Ride any of the Whistler Transit buses for FREE throughout the day!!
Location: Florence Peterson Park
Time: 9AM - 11AM
Description: Grab a delicious pancake breakfast at Florence Peterson Park. Start the day off with a flap jack and get ready for the journey ahead. There's a $3.00 minimum donation to eat with all proceeds going towards Whistler Community Services.
Canada Day Parade
Location: Town Plaza to Mountain Square
Time: 12:00 PM
Description: Line the streets of the Whistler Village Square and check out the amazing parade floats as they cruise by.
Canada Day Ceremony
Location: Village Square
Time: After the conclusion of the Canada Day Parade
Description: Following the parade gather in the Village Square for the singing of Oh' Canada and FREE cake. MMMcake!!
Canada Day Concert - Vancouver Symphony Orchestra
Location: Whistler Olympic Plaza
Time: 3:00 PM
Description: Take in a FREE concert from the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra at Whistler Olympic Plaza.
Location: The dazzling display of colors and sounds are best viewed from Skier's Plaza.
Time: 10:15 PM
