Meadow Park Sports Centre is the perfect place for rainy day relief. It's also a great place to shake up your routine.

With affordable family rates ($24 for the full day with in and out privileges, $16 for drop-in) and both swimming and ice-skating offered under a single roof, this is a great place to keep everyone busy for an entire morning or afternoon.

It's also great place for fitness buffs looking for a quality workout facility.

GETTING TO WHISTLER'S MEADOW PARK SPORTS CENTRE

Located off of Highway 99 three km's north of The Village, the sports centre offers plenty of free parking. As well, Meadow Park Sports Centre is serviced by local Wave bus system (Emerald Estates #3, and Alpine Meadows #4 buses). It's also a leisurely half-hour walk along the Valley Trail.

WHAT'S AT WHISTLER'S MEADOW PARK SPORTS CENTRE

ICE RINK

The ice arena features an NHL regulation sheet of ice. The arena is well used by local hockey players, and has very popular public skating sessions. A full-service skate shop offers skate rentals. Helmets and push bars are also available.

SWIMMING POOL

Meadow Park Sports Centre features a 25-metre long pool. With designated lanes for swimming laps, a rope swing, slide and basketball hoops, this pool is for intermediate swimmers who want to have fun and those who want to go the distance.

KIDS POOL

A graduated "beach" entrance, and water depth of 20 cm t100 cm, the Meadow Park kids pool is significantly warmer than the larger lap pool and built for fun. In the far corner of the pool, swimmers get to test their wits against the current of a lazy river and challenge the whirling water of the vortex. Good fun for the whole family.

STEAM ROOMS

Meadow Park offers both dry and wet steam rooms.

HOT TUB

Meadow Parks huge hot tub has great Whistler views thanks to the glass enclosure.

FITNESS STUDIO & WEIGHT ROOM

Just for the grown-ups, Meadow Park has a complete fitness studio with extensive cardio equipment and an adjacent weight room with machines and free weights.

SQUASH COURTS

Two squash courts can be booked for 45 minutes of court time. Equipment is available for rental or purchase.
