2012 FIBT Bobsleigh and Skeleton World Cup

The 2012 FIBT Bobsleigh and Skeleton World Cup are set to take place this weekend at the Whistler Sliding Centre. Come watch as these amazing athletes race down a 1500 meter ice track while reaching speeds of 150KM/H.

Five different events will be running this weekend including, 2 man bobsleigh, 4 man and woman's bobsleigh and men and women's Skeleton. The five events will take place over the weekend beginning with Woman's Skeleton on Friday morning and ending with Men's Skeleton on Saturday Evening.

Canadian Olympic hero John Montgomery will be here this weekend looking to repeat his gold medal performance from the 2010 Winter Games. John and rest of the Men's Skeleton Competition will begin at 3PM on Saturday evening.

Tickets for the event are only $10 and can be found online at the Whistler Sliding Centre webpage or you can purchase your tickets at the Sliding Centre on the day of the event.
