Whistler's lakes and rivers provide year round fishing opportunities for both cast and reel and fly-fishing. September is great month to fish Whistler as the last of the Salmon run flows through Whistler's surrounding rivers extracting trout and chars to looking to feed.

The Terry Fox Run takes place this Sunday, September 16. Choose to walk, run or ride the 4.2 or 7.2 KM course all proceeds from the event go to the Canadian Cancer Society.

The RBC GranFondo is a daylong bike race starting in downtown Vancouver and finishing in the Whistler Village. Riders will make the 122KM trek up the Sea to Sky highway in a designated lane set aside for the race.
