Whistler Bike Park Opening Weekend

Bike Park Banner

Get ready Mountain Bikers! The Whistler Blackcomb Mountain Bike Park is set to open this Friday, May 17. Thanks to the recent stretch of hot weather the Bike Park is on track to have a record number of trails open for the first day.

Working for a Record Number of Trails for Opening Day

Bike Park manager Mike Flintstone recently posted, "Our goal is to open with a record number of trails on the first day of operations to give you folks the best kick off riding ever! I won't list all of what will be open but you can count on the favorites being ready to roll. It is looking like most of the singletrack is good to go, A-line, B-Line, Crank-it-Up, Ninja Cougar, Karate Monkey and even Crabapple Hits! The ultimate goal is to have Dirt Merchant for day one."

The Bike Park will be open ffrom 10AM - 5PM this Friday. 10AM - 5PM will serve as the park's operational hours until June 14 when summer hours start to kick-in.
