Whistler Beer Festival

Whistler Beer Festival Banner

The first ever Whistler Beer Festival is set to take place this Saturday, September 14. Thirty six independent brewers will set up shop at Whistler's Olympic Plaza for a one day beer tasting extravaganza. Amongst the breweries taking place are several local beer slingers including; Whistler Brewery, Howe Sound Brewing and Deepcove Brewers.

Tickets for the festival are $35 and can be purchased online at the Whistler Village Beer Festival website. Entry includes 5 beer tokens, $10 food voucher, WVBF novelty mug, 'Best in Fest' beer ballot. If you want to purchase more tokens and let's face it who won't, you can grab additional tokens for $1.25 each.

Each brewery will be offering 2-5 different beer choices so the festival is a great place to try new beers and possibly find a new favourite. The festival will take place on the Whistler Olympic Plaza grounds from 1PM - 5:30PM on Saturday, September 14.
