Celebrate in Whistler at Aava Whistler Hotel

Christmas in Whistler is a magical time to spend in a wonderland of lights, sparkle and fun. There's the busy village, full of people moving from shop to cafe to pub to restaurant as they laugh and enjoy the spectacle around them. You'll see so much as you simply walk through the village that will delight you and remind you of the true joy of the season.

Attend the FREE and Fantastic Fire and Ice Show

After tackling the slopes as Santa, you can head to the first fire & ice show the next day. Held at the Skier’s Plaza each Sunday evening through to March 14th, world class athletes will be showing their wares. Kicking off at 6:30pm, members from the local ski & snowboard group will be looking to impress with their flips and tricks before fireworks finish off the evening in style. This epic event is also free.

Hit the Snow on Christmas Day

What do you do while you’re in winter on holiday in a magical wonderland like that of Whistler? Hit the slopes of course. Just because it is a public holiday, it does not mean that the fun will ever stop at Whistler Blackcomb Mountain throughout the ski season.

Everybody dreams of waking up to a gentle snowfall to get that perfect white Christmas. At Aava Whistler we cannot ever guarantee you will want to leave your luxurious room, however if you decide to, the above three things are must do events while spending your festive season in this beautiful resort town.
