Its Patio Season

Longhorn Patio Banner

The first week of June is upon us and the weekend is calling for sunny skies - This can only mean one thing, It's patio season in Whistler. Check out our favorite places to grab a pint on the patio.

The Longhorn

Whistler's busiest and most well known outdoor area has to be the Longhorn patio. This huge outdoor area over looks the base of Whistler Mountain and provides direct access for both skiers/snowboarders and mountain bikers coming directly off the hill. The location in Skiers Plaza is a constant hub of activity resulting in packed patio most day's. Good food and reasonably priced drinks keeps the crowds a coming. If you want be where the action is the Longhorn patio should be your first stop.

Citta's Patio

Located in the heart of Village Square Citta's Bar & Patio is a hop skip and a jump away from Aava Whistler Hotel. Yet another very busy area Citta's patio makes for great people watching as everyone filtering through the village must pass the pub. Known for their great pub food and drink specials Citta's is a great place to entertain a group of friends. If you want a patio overlooking the entire Village then Citta's is your place.

Brewhouse Pub

If you're looking for a place to lounge in the sun all day, and who isn't, then the patio at the Brewhouse is a great option. Thanks to the patio's layout it see's sun exposure throughout the day allowing you to drink and tan all at once. If you're a fan of a quieter setting the Brewhouse may also be right up you're ally. Located on the outskirts of the Village the Brewhouse doesn't see the constant foot traffic The Longhorn and Citta's gets all day long.

Dusty's Bar & Grill

Two things make the patio at Dusty's Bar & Grill stand out, 1 there food is the best pub/BBQ in Whistler and 2 the patio is insanely big. Located in Whistler's Creekside Village this pub is a good 10 minute car ride outside of the Village. But on the plus it's in a beautiful location at the base of the Dave Murray Downhill and it's immune from the constant hustle and bustle of the village. Looking for a place to have a conversation with your friends without screaming across the table - this might be your place.

The Den at Nicklaus North

The Den at Nicklaus North is often called the best kept secret in Whistler. The reason is because of the amazing stone work patio that over looks Whistler's glacier fed Green Lake. This amazing scenery is unrivalled any where else in Whistler. The Den is also home to a very reasonably priced beer and wine menu. The only down side to the Den is it's a 5 minute car ride away from the village so if you plan on drinking leave the car keys at home.
