2015 Whistler Winemakers Apres Series
Dine high in the clouds during the Whistler Winemakers Apres Series. During the event, dinner patrons travel by gondola 6,000 feet up Whistler Mountain for an intimate dinner at Steeps Grill. The event features a six-course meal prepared by Whistler Blackcomb executive chef Wolfgang Sterr and Steeps Chef D'arcy Demoe.
The menu features a wide array of locally sourced ingredients including vegetables from the Pemberton Valley and fish from the west coast. Each course of the meal is paired with a wine from San Francisco-based producer Robert Mondavi Winery.
This month's event takes place on Tuesday, February 24. The apres dinner kicks off at 2 PM with the last meal being served around 3:30 PM. Tickets for the event are $69 and can be purchased by calling Whistler Blackcomb Guest Relations at 1-800-766-0449 ext #2.
This event is catered to people already on the mountain skiing or boarding. You must have a lift ticket to board the Whistler Gondola which can be purchased for an additional $49 (Sightseeing Ticket). The sightseeing ticket allows you to look around while you're at the Roundhouse Station.
