Whistler Weather Forecast for WSSF 2015: Mostly Awesome

Whistler Weather WSSF 2015

We Know it's Raining Now

But that's why we included this helpful image of the forecast. From Wednesday on, it's sun, sun, and more sun for the World Ski and Snowboard Festival this year. And that is exactly what you want.

It's going to be a wet start to WSSF 2015, but only for the first couple of days. From then on, it's perfect spring Whistler weather, complete with sun and breezy mild temperatures that make you want to put on those shades, take off your jacket, and dance to the beats of the longest free concert series in Canada.

Blackcomb and Whistler Mountain Have A Show For You

They've gathered together the best skiers and boarders over the course of the season, and these guys are ready to compete for awesome prizes and to show off for you. So get ready. Of all the things to do in Whistler, WSSF is probably the most sought after, most waited for 'event' of the year.

As they say, "You Can Sleep in May" (Party in April).

World Ski and Snowboard Festival Schedule

The Aava Whistler has the entire events schedule for the full ten days and nights of WSSF 2015. Make sure to check out our events calendar for details of what's on each day. In a nutshell, this 10-day long festival brings together concerts, competitions and culture so that you can say goodbye to the winter season and welcome in the spring and summer.

Some were saying that we'd actually have the bike park open for this year's World Ski and Snowboard Festival, but things aren't that warm. And it's important to have proper transitions. This is the time to have your last hurrah. Ski your brains out. Dance all afternoon and night. See the best in ski and snowboard photography and film. And don't forget about Multiplicity, the event that is billed as "TEDActive on Adrenaline"

From Friday, April 10 to April 19

We'll be celebrating the end of winter...and the beginning of spring and summer in Whistler. Skiing may be at its end for this season, but we've got a long and luscious list of events and festivals ahead of us. From the GOFest in May to the Pemberton Music Festival in July, there is a lot going on in Whistler. See you soon!
