Wanderlust Whistler makes its return to town this July 30 - August 3, 2015. This 5-day event brings together the world's leading yoga teachers, spiritual advisers, renowned speakers, top musical acts, amazing chefs & thrilling performers to create a one-of-a-kind body revitalization experience.

During the event participants are encouraged to seek out new experiences and ask questions regarding their physical and spiritual health. The festival is a great place to gather with friends or meet new ones.

The structure of the festival centers around daily workshops and activities. The workshops include yoga workshops, lectures, cinema screenings, dinner parties, concerts, hikes and runs, outdoor experiences and much more. In order to gain access to the Wanderlust workshops, participants must purchase one of three ticket options: 5-day tickets, 3-day tickets and 1-day tickets.

Each day you have a ticket guests can attend 4 daily workshops + the nightly concert. There are hundreds of workshop options to choose from. Guests choose their own workshops allowing you to custom make your event schedule.

Whistler Wanderlust

Yoga workshops: Whether you're an experienced yogi or this is your first time there will be several options for practitioners of all levels. Choose from options such as mountain wisdom yoga, free your spine, yoga for movers, SUP yoga, powerful core yoga, mind chill yoga and so many more.

Speakeasy workshops: The speakeasy portion is a unique lecture series featuring inspiring talks from a wide range of people including an ex-NFL player, environmentalists, award-winning chef, and green entrepreneur.

  • Jason Brown: Former NFL player who walked away from a $37 million contract to create the First Fruits Farm, dedicated to feeding the hungry.
  • Bill McKibben: World-renowned environmentalist and founder of 350.org
  • Graham Hill: Founder of Treehugger.com and Lifeedited.com
  • Seamus Mullen: Award-winning New York chef, restaurateur and cookbook author
  • Taylor Conroy: Disruptive social entrepreneur and founder of ChangeHeroes.org

Hikes & runs / outdoor experiences: Whistler is known for its amazing mountain landscapes, beautiful rivers and lakes, and surreal setting. What better way to enjoy your surroundings than getting outside to explore!

Music and performances: After a long day engaging the mind and body sit back and enjoy a nightly concert at the outdoor venue Whistler Olympic Plaza. Confirmed artists for this year's event include Michael Franti, MC Yogi, Nahko and Medicine for the People and DJ Drez.

Daily Passes / Extra Events

Whistler Bike Park Opening EGO Leogang

Your daily Wanderlust ticket grants you entry into workshops and the nightly concert series. However for those who wish to explore Whistler outside of the festival Wanderlust also offers a number of day passes for fun and exciting events not included in the basic festival ticket. These type of passes include a Bike Park Pass, daily access to the Whistler Bike Park, Farm to Table Dinner, farm fresh dinner catered by local farms, Rafting Pass, rafting for the day along the Green River + several more options. These passes generally run anywhere from $48 to $119.

Tickets for the event are staged at a number of different price points.

Thursday - Monday (5 days) | $500 + tax
Friday - Sunday (3 day) | $405 + tax
Individual days (1 day) | $95 - $155 (depending on the day) + tax

By purchasing a ticket, you are able to choose 4 activities or classes, a speakeasy lecture, use of gondola or lifts, and access to all music on the day of the ticket. There are hundreds of activities to choose from so finding an event that interests you shouldn't be a problem.

Wanderlust Whistler is for everybody!

A common misconception about Wanderlust is you must be an experienced yogi or plugged into the culture to enjoy the event. In fact, this event is often a great place to try yoga for the first time or expose yourself to a number of new ventures and life experiences. Classes are offered to every level of student and instructors are well aware that some people will be participating in their class for the very first time.
