Whistler Village Beer Festival Preview

Whistler Beer Fest

5 days, 80 breweries, 200+ beers & 6000+ attendees. The Whistler Beer Festival return's this September 16-20, 2015.

During the 5 day event, Whistler will host a number of beer-related dinners, Q & A's, tastings and after parties. The main event of the weekend is the Whistler Village Beer Festival Beer Gardens which features 80+ breweries serving up 200+ beers to a field full of thirsty patrons. The event takes place on Saturday and Sunday from 1 PM - 5 PM along the Whistler Olympic Plaza grounds. Tickets for the beers gardens cost $35 for regular entry or $45 for gatecrasher entry (allows you access to the gardens 1 hour early). Your ticket is good for 1 entry, event guide, sampling mug, 5 sampling tokens and 10% off food coupon at participating bars.

Once you enter the beer gardens participants will have the chance to visit the 80+ brewery tents to sample their suds. Each coupon allows you one sample mug, most breweries offer 2-4 different brews. For those extra thirsty guests, additional tokens can be purchased for $1.25 each at the front entrance.

Beer Mugs

The beautiful thing about the beer festival is that for only $1.25 you get a chance to sample a number of beers that you've never heard of before. We almost guarantee that following the festival you'll have found a new favorite brew to add to your repertoire. The festival is also a great place to pick the brain of the people that brew your beer. Most breweries are sending up their reps or even their brew masters to talk shop with the participants.

While the beer gardens always get the most attention there's also a number of other beer-related events on tap for the week. There are 17 different beer-related events happening during the festival independent of the beer gardens. These events include beer pairing dinners, beer seminars, foodie luncheons, after parties and the always popular Best in the Fest awards. Check out the complete schedule below along with a quick write up on three can't miss events! Grab your tickets to this year's Whistler Village Beer Festival today!
