From Whistler OuterBike to Funduros — Bike Time in Whistler

OuterBike Demo

The Season is Starting Early This Year

Whistler's summer season has arrived — bright and early. Though we're still in May and just winding down from the third annual GO Fest, it already feels like summer here. Basically, the weather has been perfect for biking earlier than we thought possible, so we're all ready to roll with the best terrain and best competitions around.

We're rolling into summer season with a series of biking events including Whistler OuterBike June 2nd — 5th, dovetailed by Friday Funduros which take the early season on Whistler Bike Park before extended play starts up full time and sets out 3 Stage Sprint Enduros for you to enjoy.

There are lots of events and competitions lined up for summer, from the Subaru Ironman Triathlon happening July 26th, to the late summer RBC GranFondo on September 10th.

And Tough Mudder's coming June 18th and 19th to get us started. There's something for everyone, you could say. Pick your poison.

OuterBike Whistler

Outerbike Whistler is happening soon — June 2nd to June 5th this year. This year, meet at the Longhorn for breakfast each morning before demoing your bikes for the morning. More demos, then après with PinkBike again at the Longhorn. You'll be able to try out some epic bikes — there are rides for everyone.

And, of course, the most bike-friendly hotel in Whistler is the accommodation sponsor for OuterBike Whistler. We hope you'll join us this year and see up close that we love your bike as much as we love you.

Biking in Whistler is About to Get Real

With a name like Renaissance, you know someone's about to wake up. The huge, three-phase expansion plan that Whistler Blackcomb is implementing over the next few years is bringing lots of epic-ness to the resort, including the Watershed, an indoor, year-round, water-based adventure centre at the base of Blackcomb.

Other expansions and improvements in phase one include expansion of Whistler Bike Park into Creekside, including 50 kilometres of downhill track.
