With only two weeks of summer vacation left and less than two months until the Whistler Bike Park lifts stop running, it's time to hit up the bike park and squeeze in as much adrenaline-fueled fun as you can. Even though the summer is coming to an end, there’s still tons of upcoming events to hit up in Whistler.
Labour Day Weekend
The last long weekend of the summer! There’s so much to do in the Whistler Village on Labour Day weekend that you hardly even need to plan! Post up on a restaurant patio and people watch, wander to the Upper Village and browse the local produce at the Whistler Farmers' Market or kick off the weekend with an art adventure at Whistler’s ArtWalk.

Whistler Art Walk
The beginning of the fall season welcomes Whistler’s annual Art Walk. From September 1st to November 30th you can grab a map and stroll through Whistler on a self-guided tour of 40+ pop-up art galleries. This three month exhibit is put on by Arts Whistler in collaboration with the local artists and businesses of Whistler. There’s plenty of art to be discovered in those three months, so get out there and support your local artisans!
Free Whistler Concert Series
Don’t forget to check out the Whistler Free Concert Series this Labour Day weekend with performances by Mother Mother and Big Sugar at the Olympic Plaza.
Wanna see some really sweet nature? Well, Whistler’s mellow trails and short alpine walks provide the perfect way to escape the hustle and bustle with the family for an afternoon of nature therapy.
Still skeptical? Explore this special 360 degree video that cinematographer Brian Hockenstein made of Whistler’s shorter hikes. Come to Whistler and discover massive waterfalls, rushing rivers, and ancient trees - all from trail heads located a short drive from Whistler Village.
Whistler Village Beer Festival
Scared that the summer drinking season is almost over? Well don’t worry because Whistler Village Beer Festival is here, from September 14 - 18. Mingle with fellow beer enthusiasts and sample from some of the best breweries in British Columbia and the Pacific Northwest. A weekend full of delicious beer, food, live music and great beverages.
