First Ever #LittleThingsWhistler Photo Contest

There are very few places in Canada that can match the beautiful views and atmosphere that Whistler is renowned for. From massive picturesque mountain ranges to the quaint cobblestone walkways in the Village, Whistler is full of beauty. This is exactly why the #LittleThingsWhistler contest was started. For the first year @GoWhistler is celebrating the little moments that make for the best experiences.

How do you win? You’ve basically already done it! Remember all those great photos you took this weekend? Just start hashtagging your photos or videos #LittleThingsWhistler and follow @GoWhistler and you’re in the running for some serious goodies. Sharing your favourite Whistler memories each month gives you have a chance to win a prize, loaded with epic Whistler experiences.

The first winner of the photo contest series was @lyndawatton (above), who perfectly captured the theme of Celebrate the Village and won a night at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler, some Audain Art Museum Passes and a Bar Oso Dining Gift Card! Pretty good for just typing #LittleThingsWhistler under one of your photos, eh?

Since the #LittleThingsWhistler is intended to celebrate the different aspects of Whistler, each month has been given a specific theme. We made up a quick cheat sheet for you so you don’t have to click around and can focus on capturing that prize winning Whistler moment.

January - Celebrate the Mountain
February - Celebrate Food & Drink
March - Celebrate Adventure
April - Celebrate Relaxation

Don’t forget to give the rules and regulations a good read. And here’s some photos of previous entries to check out so you can get a leg up on the competition. Explore all of them by searching #LittleThingsWhistler on Instagram. Goodluck everybody!
