There’s Great Spring Snow Conditions In Whistler For WSSF 2017

Spring Skiing Whistler

March has seen an incredible amount of snowfall with a total of 304cm of the white stuff hitting the mountain so far. Whistler Blackcomb is experiencing ABOVE AVERAGE snowfall for the month March, recording snow 28 out of 29 days! All while Vancouver has recorded rain for 26 out of the same 29 days of the month so far.

Whistler Blackcomb offers one of the longest ski seasons in North America as well as some of the best spring skiing in the world. Whistler Mountain may be closing at the end of April but Blackcomb Mountain stays open until May 22nd.

Whistler Blackcomb The Goods Report

In the newest addition of The Goods Report, Whistler Blackcomb wanted to make sure the message is received loud and clear to Vancouverites by bringing the snow report to the people!

Take a look at the Rolling Snow Report, a GMC SUV fully decked out with fake snow to remind the kind people of Vancouver that when it’s raining in the city, it’s snowing in Whistler!

If you haven’t checked out The Goods Report yet, you definitely should. Whistler Blackcomb has been putting out a video series this winter highlighting conditions and life on the mountain. From training avalanche dogs to making fresh tracks, The Goods Report have videos that will make you want to get up on the slopes.

With WSSF coming up in just over a week, there really couldn’t be a better time to come and visit snowy Whistler. Live entertainment, parties, skiing, filmmaker competitions, WSSF has it all, and it’s happen from April 7th to 16th, 2017.
